Some inane conversations I had this week.

 

 

With my coworker / SGA buddy on Mondy morning..

Me : So. SGA. Like. Wow.
Bob : Oh- My- God. That Larrin woman! I can't stand her, what a bitch. Why on earth would Sheppard want her! Of all the women he can have, and he lusts after her! She's dangerously egocentric. I despise her! 
Me : …wha ….
Bob : He told her the location of Atlantis!! I CAN'T BELIEVE SHEPPARD TRUSTS HER!
Me : He is in an alliance with the Wraith!

 

 

 

With my doctor..

Doctor : [reading my patient file] 'morning. Have a seat. How are you feeling?
Me : Excellent actually. Those new meds really make a difference.
Doctor : [not looking up]. Well, about freakin' time.

 

With the Glass Repair Service..

Me : Glass Repair Service? Hi. I have a broken window. It's a little horizontal push out window, a single pane with the hinges and the latch bolted into the glass. I’d like a price estimate. 
Lady : A single pane window without a frame is $ 453.51.
Me : ……… It's 20 x 5 inches!!
Lady : It's special glass.
